Teresa from Switzerland arrives! ; )

Just in time for the fall colours.

On a roadtrip to Ross River, we stop at the Faro mine truck.

Lapie Canyon.

Scene of a steamship disaster along the Campbell Highway.

Welcome to Ross River!

The Canol Highway has history from the 1940’s.

The US Army left hundreds of military vehicles behind

upon completion of the road.

Teresa greets a grizzly bear at the door

in the Faro Tourist Centre.

During one of my workdays, Teresa drove my van down to Skagway and did some hiking above the townsite.

And a little sightseeing in Skagway.

Narrow gauge rails of the Yukon and Whitepass Rail Road

near Log Cabin, BC.

Another break from work and another roadtrip,

this time to Liard Hot Springs BC.

The Watson Lake Sign Forest.

Over 100,000 signs are placed here by tourist since 1942, many stolen from the side of the highway in many different countries.

Bison!

Liard Hot Springs

Sunset at the Teslin bridge

A new addition at the Transportation Museum.

Another roadtrip this time to the gold rush town of Atlin BC.

Nighttime dip in Atlin Warm Springs.

Camping in the van right beside the Warm Springs.

On the road again to Dawson City,

This time we camped on top of the Dome

overlooking downtown Dawson.

Meeting the performers at Diamond Tooth Gertie’s.

Canada's oldest casino and dancehall.

Between performances we toured the streets of Dawson

and even visited the playground.

A side trip up the Dempster Highway towards the Arctic Circle

and we were lucky enough to find the Arctic Tundra in its fall colours.

Tombstone Range Mountains.

Two moose seen in a lake.

We hiked awhile towards them, but they ran into the bush

after a time. Not because of our approach,

but because of a Grizzly bear approaching us!

A final roadtrip to Kluane National Park, Haines Junction

and the ghost town of Silver City.
