This past week was Jessica and Amanda’s last week and we tried to fit a few more destinations in.

My employment now provides me a constant supply of highway mileage as I provide deliveries to the more remote communities of Ross River and Faro.

On different occasions, Jessica and Amanda have rode with me on this distant run to deliver the mail and groceries.  Seeing the wilderness of Yukon and places not generally seen by fast paced tourists.

Last weekend we took a quick trip to Skagway Alaska where the shops are showing signs of preparing for tourist season, usually starting in mid-May.

The White Pass through the mountain tops still covered by snow.

From high in the mountains to sea level in a few kilometres!

Russian influence is still seen in the buildings in Skagway and Sitka to name a few.

The next day, Amanda gets lessons on driving a manual transmission on the way to Atlin BC.

Just over an hour drive from Tagish and home of a July music festival.

A last chance photo opportunity in Whitehorse.

An owl on the side of the highway in the evening dusk.
