June 1, 2012

A busy time as helper Corinne arrived from France and later on CSer Johanka from Belgium arrived.

We did roadtrips to Dawson, Faro, Ross River and Carmacks. Johanka and Corinne took their own roadtrip to Skagway on one of the days I was at work.

Corinne and I completed the addition to the heated living area just in time for Johanka's arrival. Now there are three queen-size beds ready at anytime and a much needed 40% increase in the living space.

The weather is much warmer now, but you can still find snow if you search hard enough!

We saw plenty of moose, elk, porcupines and, of course, bears!

Always from the safety of the van.  :)

Viewing Tagish and Marsh Lake from the Mount Jubilee Fire Lookout around 11 pm.

On a roadtrip to Ross River and Faro, the rivers and lakes are still have traces of ice.

Our next roadtrip was to Dawson City and Diamond Tooth Gertie's casino and entertainment.

Stage show

After the late show at Gerties, we camp at the nearby campground.

Breakfast after a good night's sleep.

Some of Dawson City.

Late night moose sighting.

(It does not really get dark now as we approach the soltice)

Still awaiting paneling and other finishing touches, the extra space was much needed.
